Ron smiles warmly and leans on the window, greeting regular customers by name and chatting about life, their dog and various menu items. Megan moves about in the truck, working barista magic. It’s clear: they love what they do and people love Embrace the Grind coffee.
Espresso-Focus
It’s my first visit. I’m looking for something Keto-friendly. I ask about drip coffee. That’s a negative. Only espresso here; so I could do an Americano. He asks Megan for suggestions and they point me to a couple of options. I choose the MCT with Butter and Ron suggests I top it with a small splash of sugar-free caramel syrup. Done. Delicious.
They also serve Nitro Cold Brew, Infused Energy Drinks, Italian Sodas, Smoothies, and Lemonades.

Don’t Quit Your Daydream
Caffeine and inspiration at Embrace The Grind in Buda
A glowing sign in the window urges “Don’t quit your daydream.” It seems to be the couple’s mantra. They set out to turn their daydream into a coffee truck in 2019. Building your daydream is never easy. These two literally embraced the grind for two years building out their coffee truck and opening in October 2021.
I’m inspired by stories like theirs. I feel a bit like them in 2019 with a dream, some tools and the heart to go after something new. They put in the work and are now happily serving up caffeine and a bit of inspiration every day (but Mondays) to Buda. They’re not quitting on their daydream, either. They’re dreaming up plans for growth from here.
